Paul Hutton began at Digital Fusion over 20 years ago, integrating FileMaker with web technologies. He developed web apps and created widgets for the Fusion Reactor plugin. Today, he leads the company’s web integration efforts, using FileMaker’s advanced tools to connect with web viewers, APIs, and modern web technologies.

Natasha Gromek is a Certified Claris FileMaker Developer and Product Manager at LittleMan Pty Ltd, where she leads the design of custom business systems that solve complex operational challenges. With over 15 years of experience and a Bachelor of Technology (IS) from Swinburne University of Technology, Natasha blends technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes. Her passion lies in transforming inefficient workflows into streamlined, scalable solutions that drive real-world impact. She’s particularly interested in the evolving role of developers as business consultants — not just building software, but shaping smarter ways of working.

Toni brings over 30 years of experience in the disability services sector and now leads Focus as CEO with a passion for innovation that truly serves people with disability. Under her leadership, Focus developed LENS, a transformative FileMaker platform that unifies systems, reduces admin, and positions the organisation for long-term sustainability.

Glenn brings 30+ years in the disability services sector, with deep expertise in ICT and a mission to eliminate spreadsheets and manual workarounds. As a key architect of LENS, Glenn’s drive for efficiency is helping Focus thrive—modernising operations while staying true to its people-first values.

Craig is the founder of Digital Fusion, where he’s led a world-class FileMaker team for nearly three decades. He’s a long-time advocate for building practical, durable solutions, and passionate about the user experience. While he was a developer for 20 years, his focus now is on strategy, growing and improving business, and supporting his growing team to deliver exceptional value to their clients. Outside of tech, he’s a skier, motorsport enthusiast and family man.

Oscar is a FileMaker developer at Digital Fusion, where he’s leading their new AI Labs initiative. With a background in AI research and a practical approach to development, he’s been exploring how large language models can be used effectively inside FileMaker. He’s shared his work through a series of blog posts. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and unicycling

Salvatore is a senior FileMaker Developer at Goya and an experienced speaker. He loves technical challenges and solving performance issues, almost as much as he does learning from people and talking. Because of that, he borrows expertise and mentors, ideas and concepts from different disciplines like Business Analysis. He is a keen runner.

Caroline started using Claris FileMaker in 1997 while working for Claris Tech Support in the UK. Back in France she co-founded A-kwa with her husband Jean-Matthieu. Over the years, Caroline has had the chance to speak at many conferences. Fulfilling her customer's needs and making their work lives easier by building custom solutions with all the platform has to offer is Caroline's daily motivation

Steve fell into FileMaker development when he was a primary school teacher and the Claris platform has been part of his working life ever since. He has spoken at many conferences around the world and online. His day work involves helping other FileMaker developers integrate their solutions with external services, be that building a web application, exposing an API, interacting with externals systems, or often all the above!

Ian (Parish Software) is a solo developer - 31 years with the FileMaker platform. His solutions have been mainly to assist Church Ministers and Chaplains in their work. He did venture into IOS SDK and LiveCode for FM for mobile options, but has returned to WebDirect. He volunteers as a Chaplain into Disaster Evacuation Centres, as a Simulated Patient for teaching medical students, and sings in a Chamber Choir.

Malcolm began using FileMaker while working for the Department of Defence after graduating in Engineering from QLD Uni in 1985. He founded Information Alchemy in 1999 to develop FileMaker systems for businesses, non-profits, and government clients. In 2016, PacificStone brought in iAlchemy to fix issues with their in-house production system, leading to a long-term partnership. Northcoast Stone, impressed by the PacificStone system, came on board in 2020 after a year of persuasion. Malcolm has three adult children, four grandchildren, and—now an empty nester—is keen to spend more time travelling in his camper.

John runs the consultancy GEN11, helping clients and developers extend the value of their FileMaker systems through custom apps and smart integrations. With deep experience in both FileMaker and modern development tools, he specialises in bridging the gap between low-code platforms and full-stack solutions. When he’s not building something, John’s out coaching junior soccer or tweaking a side project for fun.

Michael is a full-time solo FileMaker developer with CustoMike Solutions. With nearly 40 years’ experience using the platform, the last 20 as a full-time developer, he has expertise across all aspects of FileMaker. He works with clients from sole traders to multimillion-dollar firms, turning their ideas into effective, practical systems. He is also highly skilled at integrating FileMaker with external systems via APIs and other technologies.

Mick has been with Goya since 2019, working closely with clients to understand how they really work—and what they actually need. With a background in operations and 15 years managing live production teams, he’s driven by solving real-world problems with practical, thoughtful solutions. He’s big on testing code with automated processes, modular design, and bringing modern development practices into the FileMaker ecosystem. Outside of this, Mick can be found kitesurfing, sparring at the local gym or playing table top role playing games.

Based in California, Robert Holsey is a Product Manager at Claris. He has been on the Product team for over 10 years, having worked on FileMaker Pro, Go, and Web Direct. He's worked with FileMaker for 20 years going back to his days in Technical Support. Robert's current focus is on advancements to Claris Studio and its integration with the Claris platform as a whole. Robert drives the External Testing system (ETS) and loves working closely with the community to define the future of the platform. On his time off he enjoys supporting the Ravens, hiking and being goofy with his one-year-old daughter.

Derek is a software engineer specialising in FileMaker Server, with recent contributions to advancing AI features in both FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server. He began his journey at Claris as an intern while studying at UC San Diego, later earning his Master’s in Computer Science from Stanford University. Over the years, Derek has led key initiatives such as introducing Admin Roles to the FileMaker Admin Console and enhancing the FileMaker Admin API. Today, he’s leveraging his expertise to integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into the FileMaker platform.

Jehaan has spent a decade at Claris starting in renewals, then into the inside sales team, enterprise team, and then Sales leadership. He is now leading the Claris global sales, partner, and CS teams. His focus has been on improving the sales organization, working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to ensure they stay close to the Claris customers, and strengthening the go-to-market execution. Jehaan is passionate about building a sales culture rooted in transparency, collaboration, and integrity. He loves what he does because he believes in the Claris offering. He has countless stories of how Claris products have made a meaningful impact in the businesses and lives of customers and Partners. He wants to see that impact continue to grow.
